Moving Average Foundations Intensive
A four-week cohort that teaches active traders to read moving averages with precision — not as decorative lines, but as decision tools.
Who this program is for
Active traders — intraday, swing, or mixed — who already place trades regularly but rely on moving averages without a consistent framework. You may be stacking five indicators when two well-chosen averages would give clearer signals. This program is designed for traders who want structured practice, not a passive video course.
You should arrive with a charting setup you use daily (TradingView, MetaTrader, or equivalent) and at least three months of live or paper trading experience. No prior formal technical analysis training is required.
What you will learn
- Selecting EMA, SMA, or WMA based on your timeframe and instrument volatility
- Reading slope acceleration and deceleration as early trend-health signals
- Placing crossover events inside broader structure — not as isolated buy/sell triggers
- Identifying valid pullbacks to a moving average versus mean-reversion traps
- Aligning multiple timeframe averages without chart clutter
- Documenting MA-based entries in a trading journal with consistent annotation
Program structure
The intensive runs four consecutive weeks with two live sessions per week — Tuesday evening (19:00–21:00 ICT) and Saturday morning (09:00–11:00 ICT). Each session combines instructor-led chart marking with participant exercises on current market examples, including VN30 and regional forex pairs during Vietnam session hours.
Between sessions, you complete annotated homework on two charts from your own watchlist. Instructors return marked-up versions with written feedback within 48 hours.
Included
- Eight live sessions (16 hours total instruction)
- Annotated homework feedback on eight personal charts
- Printed reference cards for slope, crossover, and pullback patterns
- Access to cohort discussion channel for the duration of the program
- Certificate of completion upon attending all sessions and submitting homework
Not included
- Brokerage account setup or trade execution services
- Stock, forex, or futures recommendations
- Ongoing mentorship after the four-week period (see Trading Journal Clinic for follow-up)
- Charting software subscriptions
Location and delivery
In-person cohorts meet at our Binh Thanh classroom. Online cohorts join via video with screen-sharing for chart marking. Both formats cover identical material; online participants receive digital reference cards instead of printed ones.
